An overview of past and upcoming activities, discussion about political developments in the Western Balkans and planning for the Network's future work were just a few of the topics discussed by NPC board members during their November 25th 2015 meeting. Westminster Foundation for Democracy's (WFD) Regional Representative for the Western Balkans, Mr. Emil Atanasovski, briefed the members of the board about the new WFD regional office based in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, and the establishment of the Budget Office in the same parliament.

The board members used the opportunity to verify the mandate of Mrs. Mira Grgic as a chairperson of the NPC board for the upcoming six months.

This meeting took place on the margins of the regional parliamentary conference: “Working to strengthen Regional Cooperation in the Western Balkans: Achievements and Prospects”, in which over 50 MPs, experts and representatives of governments in the Western Balkans took part.

The activities are organized with the support of WFD as part of the activities of the Network of Parliamentary Committees on Economy, Finance and European Integration of Western Balkans.
